Here is a working prototype of the new EX+ series boards, they will feature Bluetooth 5, Ble, as well as Wifi 6. The board will also feature active balancer control and users will be able to set activation, voltage limits, and deactivation limits all from with in the SFK BMS app.
Other options also include a usb-c port for high speed communications and firmware update. The EX+ series will offer the option of adding and external usb-C port. This will allow you to attach other devices such as external lcd screens, remote alarms, and other devices that will be coming soon.
The final versions of the boards should be ready by late November and the EX+ series should be available Q1 2025.
For those wondering, yes it will be possible to upgrade older EX and HP batteries to this new board, it replaces the stock Bluetooth module.
