Sun Fun Kits Presents: the ultimate diy battery kit: V5 24 Volt Deluxe Heated DIY Kit! Building on the existing V5 architecture, the 24 volt version now offers users looking for higher voltages while still keeping the foot print exactly the same as our 12v kits.  Its the most capable and fastest 24 volt on the internet, you'll have your cells pre-installed and configured by Sun Fun Kits techs including the heated pads (sidwall configuraiton) and will simply need to install your bus bars, power and balancing wires, and the BMS plate (which is pre-mounted). V5 kits also feature our GEN 2 switch which allows you to turn Bluetooth functionality on or off, full control of your active balancer, and a simplified heating mechanic that incorporates the best aspects of the original switch.

As for new features the GEN 2 switch gives users greater control over their battery kit as now the Bluetooth system can be turned on or off with a touch of the button giving increased security. Users also are now able to fully manage the build in active balancer, as it can be set to run in normal mode, or in hi-mode (here the active balancer will only turn on when the battery is over 26.6 volts), or it can be turned off entirely and the kit will use the built in passive BMS balancer to manage the cells. Finally we have simplified the heating system as now users can turn heating on or off. The system will indicate a white LED letting users the heating system is active and in standby, but will turn to a red led to let users know that the system is active and is providing heating to warm up the cells. Please note, the SFK kits are the only kits on the market that support both standby heating as well as automatic low temperature heating, many smart batteries only support 1 mode.

V5 Kits also feature an updated top lid (yellow color) that allows for flush mounted I/O ports for a superior aesthetic. A RS-485 data option is also available with a water resistant RJ45 jack. All Kits are built in the USA using domestic and globally sourced components and come with your standard 2 year limited warranty on the BMS & CASE.
