2 (48V) Series Or 4 (24V) Parallel

The SFK-145HPX is one of the very few batteries on the market that can be connected in series up to 48V while also including functionality to allow for low temperature self heating. You can also parallel your batteries with up to 4 units (bus bars are needed to ensure proper balancing).

Sun Fun Kits batteries are designed to be serviceable and upgradable which means you can easily change components or service your battery; but you won't have to worry about this because you're covered for 8 years with our USA warranty (60 months full replacement, and 36 months prorated).

Low Temperature Heating

High quality silicone rubber heating pads ensure your SFK-145HPX stays nice and warm during cold weather charging. The system is automatic and does not require jumper cables or switches. Simply set the minimum required temperature in the SFK BMS app and your battery will begin to heat itself so you can charge your battery safely.

The Sun Fun Kits Smart BMS allows you to configure your batteries to suit your needs. Use Multi-View to see the combined output of multiple batteries, set charge and discharge limits in tools, or benchmark your battery to see its performance.

The SFK-145HPX Self heated lithium iron phosphate battery is our first 24v (25.6v-26.0 nominal) battery. Previously available only in kit form it is now available for all pre-built with our 8 year warranty. The 145HPX is the lightest and most energy dense 24v LFP battery on the market that also features built in heating elements for low temperature charging, a 100A bms, support for 2s series (48v) connections, and an easy to use smart app that allows you to monitor a up to 6 (may be limited to 4 on some devices) batteries simultaneously!

 
The SFK-145HPX with the GEN 2 A switch gives users greater control over their battery kit as now the Bluetooth system can be turned on or off with a touch of the button giving increased security. Users also are now able to fully manage the build in active balancer, as it can be set to run in normal mode, or in hi-mode (here the active balancer will only turn on when the battery is over 26.6 volts), or it can be turned off entirely and the battery will use the built in passive BMS balancer to manage the cells. Finally we have simplified the heating system as now users can turn heating on or off with one button; the system will indicate a white LED letting users the heating system is active and in standby, but will turn to a red LED to let users know that the system is active and is providing heating to warm up the cells. Please note, the SFK battery kits are the only kits on the market that support both standby heating as well as automatic low temperature heating, many smart batteries only support 1 mode.

This battery uses components from the United States, China and India and has gone through a complete balance, capacity and load test to ensure it is built to industry standards. Your battery comes ready to use and we recommend you review the user guide on how to get the optimum performance and longevity of your unit.

 
The SFK-145HPX battery may be used anywhere typical deep cycle lead acid/agm/flooded batteries are used and does not require special charging equipment as they have built in circuitry that ensures proper charging and discharging.

• 3.8 kiloWatt hours of reliable lithium power, replaces up to 4 (12v) lead acid / agm batteries (100ah) and is designed to be discharged to 100% of available capacity without harm to the battery.
• Up to 2.4 kW of peak power, and 1500 watts of continuous power.
• GEN 2 I/O Switch allows bluetooth to be turned on/off, full active balancer control, and a simplified heating control system.
• Expected cycle life of 3000 cycles at 80% DOD, and up to 5000 cycles at 50% DOD, 10-15 year usage life.
• Fully compatible with existing 24v infrastructure including standard 24v lead acid/agm battery chargers, trickle chargers and high voltage DC systems up to 48v (when linked in series with 2 batteries).
• Built-in cell heaters to allow for low temperature charging, temperature to activate heaters can be set inside the app.
• Smart phone/device compatible with Bluetooth monitoring/configurable app. Available for IOS/Android.
• Can be linked in series up to 48v (2 batteries in series) as well as up to 4 in parallel with a combined output of 3.0 kW continuous.
